Restorative Yoga is a passive, meditative practice. This class is designed to reduce Chronic Stress; preventing disease, burnout, sickness, insomnia, and more. Students will be resting in comfortable, relaxing poses supported by several props (blankets, pillows, bolsters, and blocks). Students will relax in poses for several minutes, often 5-10 minutes for ultimate relaxation. This class is fully guided, accessible for all level students, and essential in today’s busy world. We will be on the ground in seated or laying poses.
Aromatherapy - 3 different essential oils will be discussed/used throughout class to enhance the students ability to relax organically. Bergamot, Ylang Ylang & Lavender are calming essential oils, all different in their aroma and ability to calm the mind of it’s thoughts and the body of it’s tension.
Please wear warm, comfortable clothes. Bring a water bottle, hot tea if you’d like, socks, an eye pillow, and any props from home that may aid in your comfort.
