Restorative yoga classes are relaxing and very slow paced. In this yoga class you will be fully supported by props, this allows your body and mind to soften and come back to homeostasis. You will be encouraged to focus on your breath in order to cultivate mindfulness and release tension from your body. The use of props allows you to be the most comfortable while you hold postures for long periods of time. (approx 15 min each) Relax as much as possible while using as little physical effort as possible. You will be assisted with your props and the teacher will apply essential oils using massage techniques to aid in the relaxation process.
Reduce cortisol levels to reduce stress and produce natural relaxation from mind and body.
Bring your mat, socks and any props of your liking (blankets, pillows, etc) or use ours. Come relax & rejuvenate!
Soft music will be played for ambiance.
The temperature will be room temperature (75°)
